Most football fans will know the controversy surrounding the use of this ball during the 2010 World Cup, so this also has a bit of history tied to it. I listed the condition of the ball as “new – other” because while it has NEVER been kicked or used in play in any way, it has been sitting partially deflated for a number of years in storage. I inflated the ball to recommended spec and it seems to be holding pressure fine, but this should be considered more of a collector’s item instead of a ball for use in play. I would think it should still be fine to play with, but just be aware that I can’t guarantee how well it will respond to actual play. You can see there are some darker surface markings on the white areas, which are too noticeable, but I tried cleaning the ball with light detergent and some of it was removed, so with heavier cleaning they may buff out.
